Since we have a long list of travel destinations, Lisa suggested that we make up a list of all places across the world that we wanted to visit. We did that, in no particular order, and shared it with her. The fun thing about Lisa is that she uses that list to watch for travel opportunities, including suggesting when to go to what destinations and where there might be the best values. For instance, we had tentatively planned to do a tour of Australia and New Zealand as one of our first big trips. However, Lisa came across a great travel opportunity to visit China and Tibet on a part land tour and part riverboat cruise and recommended that we take advantage of it and postpone Australia. Unfortunately, the China trip was canceled due to the pandemic. Still, the beauty of working with Lisa is that she worked with the tour operator and trip insurance carrier on our behalf to get us an immediate refund. She also worked directly with the trip insurance carrier to get us a voucher to apply to the re-booked trip. It was incredibly gratifying to have someone like Lisa deal so efficiently with all of the numerous details. Now that we have experienced the convenience of working with Lisa on different types of trips, we would not think of booking travel any other way. And, since Lisa has traveled extensively to many parts of the world, she can provide first-hand recommendations for any aspect of a trip.
