Happy New Year! As the calendar turns, you know by now, I always take a moment to pause — not just to look back on the journeys we’ve shared, but to look ahead at what’s coming and how to plan it well.
The early weeks of the year are quietly one of the most important times for travel planning. Availability is strongest, and choices are widest, especially for cruises and complex itineraries, when the foundation for the year (and even the next) is set.
This doesn’t mean everyone needs to book immediately. It does mean that conversations started now tend to lead to better outcomes later, better cabin selection, better routing, better pacing, and fewer compromises as space begins to disappear.
I’m already seeing travelers think ahead to:
- Fall and winter travel later this year
- Milestone trips and bucket-list journeys for 2026 and beyond
- Cruises where ship choice and itinerary matter just as much as destination
My role during this time isn’t about pushing decisions… It’s about helping you understand timing, options, and what’s worth prioritizing based on how YOU like to travel.
If something has been sitting on your “someday” list - or if you simply want to talk through what makes sense for the year ahead - this is an excellent moment to reach out. Even an early conversation can make a meaningful difference. Click here to schedule your planning call, and let’s get ahead of the travel crowd together.
Here’s to a new year filled with thoughtful planning, meaningful journeys, and experiences that truly fit the season of life you’re in.
Warmly,
Lisa
